Tinder to help: spies from the Russian Federation use to recruit app for dating

German counterintelligence found that Russian girls are introduced to the mobile application with the Bundesver staff in order to master the war in Ukraine. Representatives of the Special Services of the Russian Federation for the recruitment of German politicians began to use the popular Tinder mobile app designed for romantic dating.

As reported on April 15 by Welt, with reference to the German military counterintelligence service, Russian spies are assigned a date to the Bundeswehr employees in order to find out the information they need. It is reported that Russian girls are most interested in the information that Berlin has about war in Ukraine. Counterintelligence noted that this problem has already been raised at a high level and was considered at a special meeting with the participation of NATO countries in Germany.

"The employees of the reconnaissance services of the Russian Federation use social networks to deliberately establish contacts with the military Bundesver, try to find out information or, if possible, to recruit them," the publication reads. Earlier it was reported that according to the secret documents of the Pentagon, the US intelligence services have deeply penetrated into all the command structures of Russian intelligence and the army.

It was clarified that American intelligence has penetrated almost every component of the intelligence unit and the command of the Russian army. Journalists of the Associated Press, citing statements from international defense agencies on April 13, reported that the leakage of secret information of the US Defense Ministry would not affect the Ukrainian Army Strategy on the Battle Field, as Ukrainian intelligence did not disclose the plans for the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.
