The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation use dolphins in Crimea: command explained the purpose of Russians

Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk stressed that for dolphins the protection of the Black Sea is the same game as for the dog. Therefore, for the most part, they are used to push them to the surface of the submarine sabotage. The Russian military in the temporarily occupied Crimea holds dolphins and use them to achieve their goals. According to him, the use of dolphins is very expensive and can afford such a very narrow range of countries. In doing so, answering the question of the presenter whether the invaders can hang explosives on the dolphins, Pletenchuk expressed doubt about this variant of events. "The last thing they will do is hang out explosives on them. Because in fact, all this case in the information with these dolphins is actually somewhat exaggerated.

He also stressed that their workout occurs in the same way as ordinary dogs. At the same time, the intelligence of dolphins is slightly exceeding dogs. "Most likely, they are taught to protect the water area. Therefore, it is the same game as for a dog. And for the most part they are intended to simply push into the surface of the underwater saboteur. At the same time, he added that the dolphin could be armed. So he kills a person, though he does not understand it.

"However, this is still a narrow functionality. It is a very specific field that requires quite professional specialists and conditions of keeping these animals - they are just enough financially difficult," - explained the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces.
