They did not return from the war. Assistance to military families
In these countries, there are dozens, if not hundreds of organizations, public and state -owned organizations, working with veterans returning from the war. But help is needed not only by the military, but also by their families. We are forced to be on the verge of a complete transformation of the social structure of society, and therefore the social policy of the state as a whole.
It is not yet known how many wives, children and other relatives of our military need new comprehensive decisions and assistance programs. It is unknown how many our defenders will receive physical injuries, but it is known that psychological injuries will receive, and it will have long -term consequences.
Watching dozens of heroic videos of our boys and the chronicles of air strikes with the number of dead, I remembered that in my childhood my closest girlfriends had parents who returned from Afghanistan. I remember well these families to whom society was not in business. They received benefits - that's everything. Instead, there were aggression, alcohol, PTSD, unfulfilled and irrelevant deafness of the environment.
The state did something, but it was created that all this was only to redeem when monetary compensation became the only measure to restore justice without any effort to carry out radical institutional reforms. And it is for our defenders and their families that they never find themselves in that wireless deaf captivity or disappeared.
In our country, there are many public and state initiatives aimed at resolving issues of citizens who were victims of this war, but I offer a more comprehensive single approach. The program should include both material and symbolic compensation. The main thing is that they should be focused on people, not on bureaucracy.
