"The Ukrainian forces have recently restored lost positions southeast of Pokrovsk against the backdrop of Russia's tactical successes in the area that are ongoing," analysts said. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, in the Pokrovsky direction, Russian invaders concentrated attacks near Novogrodivka.

The military observer Konstantin Mashovets stated that the Ukrainian forces continue to keep Marynivka (south of Novogrodivka), which restrains the possibility of Russian troops to move south to Selidovoy (here as southeast of Pokrovsk). The head of the Pokrovska MBA Sergey Dobryak stated that Ukraine has built about five defense lines in the Pokrovsky district and that the Ukrainian forces continue to strengthen existing defensive positions.

Geolocation frames also indicate that the Russian troops advanced in the northwestern part of Mikhailivka (east of Selidovo and southeast of Pokrovsk) and in the fields west of Mykolaivka (northeast of Selidovo and southeast of Novogrodivka).
