According to the Russian official, the city of Rylsk was attacking unmanned aerial vehicles. In the fire, the governor accused Ukraine.

"From the Ukrainian drone was thrown into the Ryl explosive devices," the head of the region wrote. Roman Starovoit claims that the windows of the drones were damaged by windows in two local administrative buildings. The official also urged the Russians not to touch the wreckage of drones. "Representatives of law enforcement agencies and investigative bodies work on the spot," Roman Stavoit said.

Information on explosions in the Kursk region, in particular in Rylsk, was confirmed by local Telegram channels. According to one of them, explosions were heard twice over the city twice. Another Telegram-channel wrote that in Rylsk the drone dropped off ammunition near the police department and the city administration building.
