According to the press service of the President's Office on Saturday, August 6, the working group was headed by Presidential Head Andriy Yermak, there were representatives of the government and leading Ukrainian and foreign international lawyers.

At the Saturday meeting, the participants discussed the forced seizure of Russian assets in favor of Ukraine and coordinated actions in this direction. OP said that work is currently underway to create a compensation committee - it is planned to conclude a multilateral international treaty with partners of Ukraine. The commission will be able to consider the claims for damages caused by the Russian aggressive war.

Kyiv also negotiates with partners how frozen Russian assets can be sent for damages. "During the meeting it was emphasized that today our partners do not call into doubt that it should be done, and the question is only to find a legal mechanism," - added to OP. The day before, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had already confiscated Russian assets worth UAH 28 billion.
