"Officers in the corners are hiding": the instructor told about the problem with the Armed Forces Command
About it in an interview with the portal "Novinarna" was told by an officer of territorial defense forces and instructor of minetters of the Armed Forces Sergey Molodid, who before the full -scale war worked in the field of printing and development of tactical equipment. According to him, mentality, unwillingness to learn, recognize mistakes, Soviet traditions - these are the reasons why the analysis of the actions does not work.
"It is necessary to recognize problems and mistakes, to hear subordinates, to be able to evaluate the situation and to make adequate decisions. And not to shout by the mat on subordinates daily," - said the Molodid. He believes that the subordinates should not be afraid of the commander, but be afraid to substitute the commander. "And our officers are hiding in the corners when the commander in the hallway stands that they do not get on the eye again," the instructor added.
In 2015, Sergei Molodid was among the officers who came to the military enlistment offices voluntarily. Among the military specialties was an unpopular direction - artillery intelligence. The officer noted that mortars are a powerful but underestimated weapon in the post -Soviet army.
Previously, they were considered "pocket artillery", but still in the battles of the Second World War, in particular during the planting of allies in Normandy, there were approximately 40% of the infantry from the actions of mortars of the German army, the officer said. "With competent use, it is a very effective weapon. Any infantryman will say that the battle feels much more confident with the support of mortars," the young explained.
