The position has not changed: Britain is still forbidden to strike deep into Russia - the media
In a conversation with the State Secretary of the UK Foreign Affairs, David Lemmy, Head of Government, expressed his hope that permission to use long-range weapons for strikes in the territory of the aggressor country will appear in Ukraine. In a comment to the British media, the head of the foreign policy department said that they need to hear from Ukrainian colleagues and President Vladimir Zelensky their assessment of the situation and their needs on the ground.
At the same time, he refused to comment on the details of operational issues, because, according to him, Vladimir Putin is the only person to be profitable. "And we will do nothing to give him any advantages in his illegal invasion," the Foreign Minister said. The British government, for their part, stated that the country's position on the use of Storm Shadow missiles in Russia has not "changed", but they added that they were always listening to Ukraine.
