According to the speaker of Kharkiv, Vitaliy Sarantsev, the invaders hoped to take new positions in the city center, so that residential buildings served as a cover for them. As a result, this plan failed. In the Kharkiv region, Russians try to knock out Ukrainian defenders from their positions and used a new tactic the day before to break into Vovchansk. The spokesman of the operative-tactical group "Kharkiv" Vitaliy Sarantsev on the air "Public Radio" told about it.

According to him, 2 tanks and 2 mt-lb were used to the central part of the border city of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but as a result they were lost and forced to retreat. Earlier in this way, the enemy has not yet tried to storm on this area of ​​the front. "The Russians tested new tactics in Vovchansk. So they tried to deliver the personnel to the position," Vitaliy Sarantsev said.

The spokesman separately added that this technique, according to the invaders, had to help them get to the urban development that would serve as a cover for armored vehicles. With the help of tanks and MT-LB, landing military was transported, and after planting they wanted to send them to carry out combat missions.

Vitaliy Sarantsev also recalled that the armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is equipped with special protection against drones, but this significantly slows it down and reduces fire power. As a result, the technique that the occupiers used for assault performed mostly logistical functions. The defense forces noticed the enemy maneuver in time and struck with FPV and artillery. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were forced to retreat with losses.
