There were two waves of blows along the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol, after which a fire broke out. However, according to the defense department of the Russian Federation, the Russian air defense allegedly reflected the attack and destroyed 10 ATACMS missiles. On the night of May 15, explosions were heard in the area of ​​the Belbek airfield near Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported in the Telegram channel "Crimean Vetter".

"Tonight in the area of ​​the Belbek airfield near Sevastopol was loud," the message reads. In particular, the first wave of explosions was about 01:55, also probably worked Russian air defense, and 15 minutes after that, quieter explosions, similar to ammunition detonation, continued. The second wave of attack lasted until 2:35, the explosions were heard by residents of Evpatoria and Bakhchisarai district.

"An hour after the missile attack at the airfield of Belbek fires in the area of ​​the planes increased, and the fires themselves are stronger," the Telegram channel administrators said. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that an attempt was allegedly stopped by the use of US missiles atacms, Harm, French Himars, large caliber jet shells and UAVs throughout the night.

The Russian air defense allegedly destroyed ten ATACMS over the Crimea, two units of HARM, two Himars, two jet shells of RSSU "Alder" and nine drones over the territory of Belgorod region, five more UAV over Kursk and three above Bryansk. The so -called "governor" of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev stated that the Russians allegedly repelled a massive attack on Sevastopol.

According to him, in the area of ​​Fedorovskaya Street, the wreckage of a downed rocket fell in the private sector, as if no one was injured. We will remind, on May 6, a representative of GUR MOU Andriy Yusov told that Ukrainian fighters invent different methods of attacks on temporarily occupied Crimea. According to him, the tactics did not repeat it. On the same day, the Air Force spokesman Ilya Yevlas reported that a large number of missiles were required to destroy the Crimean bridge.
