The owner of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant refused to claim Russia: Ukrhydroenergo explained the reason
According to the report, this decision was made to provide a broader national strategy of Ukraine, which is to hold Russia accountable for the damage caused to the objects of critical infrastructure and to provide compensation for destruction. For this purpose, Ukrhydroenergo assures additional consultations with key stakeholders to determine the most appropriate course of action, which is coordinated in partnership with our country's allies.
It is emphasized that the company remains a dedicated business to all the losses caused by war, which, in addition to the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, include more than 140 missile strokes at other facilities of the company. We will remind, in June 2023 Ukraine transmitted all the necessary data on the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant to the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
