Seriously affected two TPPs: DTEK told about the situation after the night attack of the Russians

The Russians have repeatedly attacked DTEK objects. Recovery, according to the executive director of the energy company Dmitry Sakharuk, will take a long time and money. Due to the Russian shelling tonight, the equipment of two thermal power plants was seriously injured. Dmitry Sakharuk was informed by DTEK Executive Director DTEK. According to him, DTEK stations, which received damage, became "targets" and during previous attacks as well.

He reported that today's attack of Russians has become sixth on the facilities of an energy company. "The stations have stopped work, there are no affected energy, but very serious destruction of equipment that will take a lot of time and money to recover," Sakharuk said, adding that partially recovery is still possible. He also reported that the stations only recently extinguished the fires and after inspection of the objects of the sappers, the gap would begin.

After that, it is necessary to look that it is possible to restore and put into operation, Sakharuk noted that as a result of the attack of the Russians, not only the DTEK thermal power plants, but also the objects of solar generation and hydrogeneration were injured. Therefore, he warned because many capacities were lost, consumer restrictions were not excluded even on weekends. It should be noted that Ukrenergo reported, today restrictions for consumers will act from 6pm to midnight.
