Russia removes its submarines from the Crimea on the background of the Armed Forces - British intelligence

Submarines of the Russian Federation are probably moved from the occupied Sevastopol to the Krasnodar region, according to the UK Ministry of Defense. The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation probably removed the submarines from the place of dislocation in the temporarily occupied Crimea Krasnodar region. This is stated in the British intelligence report, the United Kingdom Ministry reports on Tuesday, September 20.

"The Command of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia almost certainly relocated its submarines of the class of kilo from the port of registration of Sevastopol in Crimea to Novorossiysk in Krasnodar region in southern Russia," the statement reads. The department noted that the removal of submarines is probably associated with threats to the safety of the Russian fleet against the background of strengthening the possibilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The British Ministry of Defense reminded that in the last two months the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet and its main airfield of maritime aviation have been attacked by Ukraine. It was the guarantee of the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea that was one of the reasons why the Kremlin dared to occupy the Ukrainian Peninsula in 2014, but now the safety of Russian troops in the region is undermined, according to intelligence.
