Russia is not referred to as an aggressor: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is outraged by the final declaration of G20 (document)

According to Ukrainian diplomats, the G20 participants tried not to focus on who the aggressor and against whom the war was underway. Instead of war "Against Ukraine" uses the evasive wording "war in Ukraine", and the name of the aggressor country is not mentioned at all. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, they were dissatisfied with the final joint declaration published after the end of the Indian Summit of the Great Twenty.

Ukrainian diplomats have offered their edited version of the document. This is stated in the post of spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko on the social network X (former Twitter). Ukrainian diplomats drew attention to the fact that representatives of foreign countries are trying not to emphasize who the aggressor and who is being conducted (in the text of the declaration instead of the war "against Ukraine" shows the evasive wording "War in Ukraine").

Nikolenko expressed disappointment with that part of the document concerning the aggression of the Russian Federation. According to him, the participation of the Ukrainian side in the summit would allow other parties to make a more impression of what is happening in Ukraine. "The principle of" nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine "remains key as ever," the diplomat recalled. At the same time, the speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry offered his final text.

He stressed that it is the Russian Federation, not "all countries" (as stated in the declaration), should refrain from the use of military force or nuclear weapons for territorial conquests. Nikolenko also pointed out that the participants of the summit had to condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and urge Russia to stop it immediately.
