Departure from Ukraine for women on military account will be restricted - Venislavsky

Women who have medical and pharmaceutical education are acquired by conscripts and will not be able to travel abroad as ordinary citizens. Women who have medical or pharmaceutical education should be on military records of October 1, 2023. This was stated by a member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, a representative of the President in the Council of Fedir Venislavsky in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, last year the deputies amended Article 1 of the Law on Mobilization Training and Mobilization. They assume that women with medical education should be compulsory military records. The Cabinet then issued an appropriate resolution according to which the Defense Ministry issued an order for military registration of women. Thus, from October 1, women who have medical or pharmaceutical education must be on military registration.

"If they are registered, then they acquire the status of conscripts. And the conscripts go abroad in the order set for the military. , they will be able to go. If not - then they, like men, will be limited in the right of departure, "Venislavsky said. The deputy added that women who have other military accounting specialties can be registered voluntarily and that women do not plan to expand the list of specialties.
