51-year-old Vladislav Osipov and 52-year-old British Richard Masters are charged with a conspiracy for the purpose of deception of the United States, violation of the sanction regime, as well as money laundering. Viktor Wexelberg himself has been under US sanctions since 2018, suspected of interfering with the US presidential election, and he was arrested in Spain shortly after the war in Ukraine - in April 2022.

According to the US side, they tried to remove the Tango yacht from the sanctions using US companies and the US financial system, tried to hide the Yakhta Wexelberg yacht and ensure its operation. Businessmen have developed a cunning plan. They created the scheme of using the fake yacht name - fanta.

"As a result of this masking, US financial institutions have processed hundreds of thousands of dollars in favor of Tango, which would not allow them if they knew about the participation of Wexelberg in financial transactions," the Ministry of Justice said. But Victor Wexelberg issued himself - he ordered the American company 58 gorgeous bathrobes with the logo of the Tango yacht, pointing in the billing for the new fake name of his yacht.

Richard Masters have already been detained in Spain at a request of the United States, he is threatened with extradition. A warrant for arrest is written about Vladimir Osipov. He is known to be that he is a trustee of a billionaire Wexelberg. He is a board member of the Scottish company Charme Fashion Group, bought by an oligarch. His name was also featured as the Secretary of the Chairman of the Board of Renova Management AG, Zurich.

Recall that Victor Wexelberg is considered one of Russia's richest people and a close friend of Vladimir Putin. In 2021, his wealth was estimated at $ 9 billion.
