For the first time in Lviv, they said goodbye to an unknown warrior, whose identity could not be established. He died in the spring of 2022. The mayor of the city Andrey Sadovy reported on his Telegram channel on November 11.

According to him, a Ukrainian serviceman was killed on April 3, 2022 in battles for the city of Popasna in Luhansk region. His body was taken to Lviv in June last year, and for almost a year and a half went to establish his identity. "Unfortunately, it was not possible to identify the person of the dead. Also on this day in Lviv said goodbye to two other Ukrainian heroes. One of them is the warrior of the 80th separate landing brigade Andriy Kirich.

This year, after mobilization, the husband married his beloved, and in 2022 his wife buried his brother, who died in the fighting for Mariupol. "The wife asked that the unknown warrior would be buried next to her husband so that she could look after his grave - until his relatives were found," the message reads. The second defender, which was buried on November 11, served in the 128th separate mountain and assault brigade.
