Three Ukrainians are suspected of contributing to the abduction of almost 4 million hryvnias from the deposit of the widow of the Armed Forces. They have been informed of suspicions. The investigation found that three inhabitants of Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn and Cherkasy regions transferred their personal data to a group of fraudsters for monetary remuneration. They registered electronic wallets, FOPs and virtual service. The fraudsters then learned that the woman received state aid in connection with the death of her husband in the war, and that she saves these funds on a bank deposit.

In the future, through accounts on cryptocurrencies, fraudsters brought almost UAH 4 million to controlled accounts. Investigative actions are ongoing to establish other persons directly involved in fraud.
