Broke weapons: 50 Dagestans from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation refused to fight in Zaporizhzhia region (map)

A group of Russian soldiers from the Caspian Fleet deserted against the background of the successes of the Armed Forces and great losses of the invaders. In the Zaporozhye region, 50 Russian servicemen refused to fight in Ukraine and damaged their weapons. The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on July 1 in its morning summary on Facebook.

The General Staff point out that due to the successful actions of the Ukrainian army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, they lose a large amount of live force, so cases of desertion and unauthorized departure from the positions increase among the occupiers.

One of these happened in the area of ​​the village of Roadnyanka of Zaporizhzhya region, located south of Gulyaypol: 50 ethnic Dagestans from the Caspian Fleetty refused to participate in the battles, and also failed all weapons in their unit. The General Staff noted that the enemy concentrates major efforts in the Liman, Bakhmut and Mariinsky directions, where the most severe fighting continues. There were 22 fighting collisions on the last day at the front.

At the same time, the Russians continue to cover the civilians of Ukraine as a "live shield". For example, in the village of Topolivka, Kherson region, the Russian military command places its servicemen in private civilian homes. On the eve of the commander of the operational-strategic group of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces "Tavriya" Alexander Tarnavsky reported about the loss of the Russian army in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions.
