The Ukrainian military showed foreign journalists the work of the updated Ukrainian howitzers on the front. The development of Bogdana began in 2016. The defenders shared images of the Ukrainian self -propelled howitzer 2C22 "Bogdan". Photos were posted on social networks of 57 separate infantry brigade named after the Cossack chieftain Kostya Gordienko. The brigade said that the work of "Bogdan" on the unnamed section of the front was removed by Reuters correspondents.

2C22 "Bogdan" is the first howitzer 155 mm caliber, developed by Ukrainian specialists. Work on it was started in 2016.
