"Because it's a war": a major told why commanders are wrong at the front and can do so in the future

Commanders cannot always make the right decisions. Many soldiers are real heroes, despite their authorities, said Major "Simba". The company commander 8 of the Regiment of the SCO with the Simba call sign said the authorities were mistaken and would do it at the front, because it was a war. According to him, it is impossible to be work and made only the right decisions. He reported this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

When asked by a journalist, whether the military agrees with the statement that the heroism of a soldier is a mistake of leadership, Simba replied that the mistakes of the commanders were, there are, and will be, "because it is a war. " "We cannot be work and always make the right solutions. I know many fighters who are real heroes and do heroic actions, regardless of commanders," Simba said. He noted that it is also worth understanding what the aspect of the hero is.

In particular, different actions can be considered heroic. "The man who did not leave you wounded on the battlefield and has been holding the enemy to the end with you, and you managed to escape - he is a hero? For me, but for everyone?" He asked. According to "Simba", in order to be a hero, it is not necessary to destroy 20 thousand tanks, sometimes it is enough to make a volitional decision, to stay in order to provide timely assistance.

He told how once his brother allegedly died in the Rifle battle and remained in the position that the enemy occupied. It was fundamentally picking up for Simba. He did not force anyone, because he knew all the risks of surgery, but decided to evacuate his brothers. He saw in the eyes that many soldiers realized what they were signed and where they were going. As a result, the operation was successful, the enemy was destroyed and the brothers were taken away.

During the evacuation, it turned out that the man was not killed, he was assisted. Unfortunately, he died in hospital a week later. We will remind, on July 14 Paramedic Kateryna Polishchuk with the call sign "Bird" accused the commander of the 59th OMPBR Bohdan Shevchuk of the "criminal orders", which lead to great losses on the front. She called on President Zelensky to carry out a check.
