"Eurovision" in Putin: The Sun has criticized the song contest "Interaction"

To spread: in Moscow, they announced a new International Song Contest "Interaction", which is positioned as an alternative to Eurovision after the exclusion of Russia due to a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. The organizers emphasize the "traditional values" and at the same time completely ignore the theme of war, accompanying the West with openly anti -Western Masses.

According to The Sun, Vladimir Putin himself was the initiator of the project, who actually restored the Soviet tradition of such a competition. "Interaction" already existed in the 1960s and 1980s, and then aimed at culturally uniting the USSR allies in Europe and beyond. Today, the Kremlin seeks to repeat this experience, using the show as a foreign policy tool. Performers from 23 countries will participate in the competition this year.

In particular, 21-year-old Nastya Kravchenko, who previously participated in the local version of the X-Factor, will take the stage from Belarus, and China represents 40-year-old Van Si pop singer, known under the stage name Elvis van. Russia is betting on a shaman - an artist who has already been distinguished by participation in propaganda concerts on Red Square and performances in North Korea.

In general, the list of participants included Belarus, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Qatar, South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Usae, UAE, UAE, UAE, UAE, USA, USA. At the same time, Azerbaijan refused to participate after the Russian military shot down his passenger plane last December, causing 38 people to be killed.

Initially, the United States had to represent Brandon Howard, but because of family circumstances, it refused to participate. His place was taken by Australian singer Vassi. At the same time, after confirmation of its participation from official resources, all references to the support of LGBT were removed, because in Russia the appropriate movement was recognized as "extremist".

Moscow's official representatives claim that the competition "will be deprived of" and is intended to promote "spiritual, family and universal values". The winner will be determined by the international jury, the composition of which will form the Kremlin, not the vote of the audience, which further emphasizes the control of the state over the project.

The publication notes that in Ukraine a new competition has already been described as an element of Russian propaganda and a tool for concealing the Kremlin's true aggressive policy. Despite the exacerbation of relations between Moscow and Washington, the organizers managed to place the advertising of the competition even on Times Square in New York.

Earlier, Focus wrote that in early 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to organize in 2025 the music competition "Interaction" - an analogue "Eurovision". The corresponding decree has already been signed, and the text of the document was published on the official website of legal acts of the Russian Federation. Also recently, the state Spanish broadcaster said that he would take part in the next Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna if Israel is not expelled due to war in Gas.
