Russian DRGs tried to break through the border in the north of Ukraine - the General of the Armed Forces

According to the Commander of the Joint Forces Sergiy Nayev, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation try to find weaknesses in Ukrainian defense in Chernihiv and Sumy directions. The border areas of Ukraine are actively strengthened by engineering barriers and surveillance cameras. Russian sabotage and intelligence groups made unsuccessful attempts to enter the territory of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

This was announced on July 21 by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Sergey Naev. "The Russian Federation does not leave attempts to find weaknesses in our defense directly in the Chernihiv and Sumy directions. The border entry of the penetration of sabotage and intelligence groups is recorded, but all attempts were unsuccessful," Naev wrote in Telegram.

According to him, the military command of Ukraine interacts closely with the heads of military administrations in these regions on the issue of increasing non -clipping engineering barriers and video surveillance. The General added that all attempts by the enemy to cross the state border of Ukraine will fail.

"If the level of threat increases, the General Staff of the Armed Forces provides for the strengthening of our troops in order to make it impossible for the enemy's efforts to invade Ukraine," Nayev stressed. The invaders, after an unsuccessful attempt to penetrate, opened fire to intimidate the locals, causing two residents of the border settlement.
