Britain has imposed sanctions against Russia through pseudo -referendums

The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against participants in the preparation of pseudo -referendums, which Russian invaders organized in the temporarily captured territories of Ukraine in Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

According to the press service of the British government on Monday, September 26, 92 individuals and legal entities were included in the new sanction list “in response to the Russian regime of fictitious referendums in four regions of Ukraine, which clearly violates international law, including the UN Statute.

According to the government, Britain has imposed sanctions on more than 1,200 individuals and more than 120 organizations.

From September 23 to September 27 in the occupied territories in several regions of Ukraine - Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson - Russia is trying to imitate "referendums". At the same time, Russian troops do not completely control any of these areas. Ukraine and the vast majority of Western countries have stated that the results of pseudo -referendums will not be recognized.
