"For War with NATO": State Duma deputy suggested to cook for mobilization all Russian youth

According to Lieutenant General Viktor Sobolev, the general military training will allow to reserve 100% of young Russians for the army. All the youth of Russia must undergo military training. So it will be reserved for the Russian army. This was stated by a member of the State Duma Committee on Defense, Lieutenant General Viktor Sobolev, reports the Russian Agency "National News Service".

According to 72-year-old Sobolev, the Russian Federation is now lacking in a mobilization reserve for a "large-scale war with NATO". "A trained mobilization reserve for a large -scale war, if NATO is unveiled, we have no," the deputy complained to journalists. In order to correct this, the Siberian deputy proposes to restore the base of mobilization deployment and hold a military meeting for young people.

"It is necessary to change everything: to hold a meeting, you need to teach young people in the DTSAAF system, in educational units and units," Sobolev suggested. He is also convinced that military-accounting profession should have 100% of young Russians. "In the army we served one of ten, and nine people out of ten in the army did not serve. What kind of reserve would they make?" Said the Russian Lieutenant General.

Sobolev believes that young Russians are obliged to undergo military training for at least six months, after which they will receive a military accounting specialty and will be in the mobilization reserve of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "in case of war".

At the same time, yesterday, January 11, the head of the State Duma Committee from Defense Colonel-General Andriy Kartpolov in conversation with the RBC agency emphasized that the system of formation of a mobilization reserve operating in Russia, corresponds to all state requests and allegedly proven itself. We will remind, on January 11, Kartpolov also told that in the spring of this year in Russia will be launched a campaign to increase the conscript age.
