Beat 90% of drones: a military observer showed the dynamics of UAV strikes since May 2023
Oleksandr Kovalenko told about how Ukrainian air defense funds are fighting the drones of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In the publication, he summarizes the preliminary results of the dynamics of Russian drones between 1 and 19 August. In this case, the observer relies on the official data of the Ukrainian military command. "According to official information, on August 2/3, 128 Shahd-136 was launched in Ukraine, 121.
That is, the effectiveness of combating Shahd-136 exceeded during this period, 90%during this period," Kovalenko writes. However, he notes that these data do not always contain complete information, because in some cases the sources do not indicate the total number of drones, but only those that have been liquidated. Kovalenko compared these figures with data for May, June and July this year. The highest ratio was recorded in May: 377 UAV of 413.
In June, 166 out of 197, and in July 205 of 246 drones. Such data Kovalenko cites in the context of the information that appeared that the SHAHED-136 plant was allegedly worked in Russia, and therefore thousands of drones that will attack Ukraine should be expected in the near future. "Although, convincing confirmation that the plant really worked at the level of serial production, I have not met," the window said.
According to him, the official data of the Armed Forces of Ukraine show that August raids do not differ quantitatively from raids in the past 3 months, and may even be smaller than them. From this he concludes that no mass production of ShahED-136 in the territory of the Russian Federation can not be discussed, although artificial assembly of drones, of course, takes place. Earlier, Focus gathered information about the attack of hostile drones on the night of August 19.
