A double "fireball" appeared in the sky: it turned out that there is nothing unusual (video)

On the evening of October 16, observers were dazzled when a bright green bolide swept through the sky over several states on the east coast of the United States. It left behind a trail of light, then flared up and disappeared.
On the video of this event, taken in the state of Connecticut, a second bright meteor was recorded, which moved with the bolide, and then disappeared at the same moment when it approached the surface of the Earth. This seemingly incredible event appears to have been repeated the following day, October 17, when another fireball was spotted in the same area. And she was also accompanied by a second meteor.
Were these rare double meteors or just a play of light? According to bolide expert Robert Lunsford of the American Meteor Society, these double bolides may have been nothing more than an optical illusion created by the fog coatings placed on the outside of the sky observation cameras. According to Lunsford, these cars were captured by the same cameras that tend to create "double cars" during the highlights. The secondary cars are in the same place relative to the main event in the video.
Bolides are very bright meteors that look like fireballs when small space rocks falling to Earth burn up in the planet's atmosphere. As Focus has already written, the peak of the Southern Taurid meteor shower will occur on the night of November 4-5. And the Northern Tauride meteor shower will be clearly visible on the night of November 11-12. Focus also wrote that an unexpected composition was discovered in one of the first galaxies in the universe.
