Statement Ukraine. The focus of this year's Viennacontemporyan Art Fair has become a war in Ukraine

The fair will have several thematic parts dedicated to Ukraine and its artists and will be held from September 9 to September 11 in Vienna. Among the millions of people who were forced to look for shelter after the start of the war in Ukraine are numerous artistic and creative professionals. Boris Ondrachka, artistic director Viennacontempory, and Yana Barinova, previously the Director of the KSCA Department of Culture initiated the Statement Ukraine project.

Thanks to it, Viennacontemporyary supports Ukrainian artists and Ukraine in collaboration with Erste Foundation, and contributes to the spread of Ukrainian culture abroad. Video of Statement Ukraine Day is this year's content-focus of the International Fair of Contemporary Art Viennacontempoury and consists of several parts: the central place of the fair is the exhibition of The Cockerel with Black Wings: A Recovered Heirloom, where 13 Ukrainian and international artists.

The exhibition will be held during Viennacontemporiary days in collaboration with Das Weisse Haus and open for free visit. The exhibition highlights the problems of lost or potential relics and various social relations that are laid in them. It takes the form of speculative and touching memoirs that lead the visitor to the East, although they try to avoid any melancholy mood at all costs that can be related to such a journey.

Viennacontemporary launches the NFT-Drop VC Statement Ukraine Crypto Art Drop to support the Ukrainian Art Scene. The project will feature at least eight artistic works created by well-known contemporary Ukrainian artists in cooperation with modern cryptocurrencies who have selected Viennacontempoury Art Director Boris Onrera, and Business Development Director Viennacontem Yura Myron.
