Instead of large power plants in Ukraine there will be hundreds of small ones to prevent shelling - Gerus
Andriy Gerus, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, said this on Ukrainian radio. "When we have 5-10 large power plants, they are goals and can be affected. When we have hundreds of small power plants, small objects will be fired almost unrealistic or very expensive," he said.
He added that there is also a work on the installation of a large number of solar and gas power plants, as several TPPs have received serious damage, which can take up to a year. "Energy objects are open, they are not classified and it is almost impossible to hide, because it is visible where the transmission lines, high -voltage lines, to which substations they lead and where are the power plants are located.
