To spread: In 2025, about 75% of Ukrainian users continue to use software that comes from the Russian Federation. More than 40 Russian programs are actively used in Ukraine. In particular, it is about 1C, Bitrix, Amocrm, Iiko, Tilda, Jivosite, Drweb and Kaspersky, reports DOU with reference to the IT Ukraine Association. It is reported that more than 70% of companies in Ukraine still use Russian software.

The most popular among Ukrainians is 1C, intended for accounting, tax and management accounting. "It is also worth noting that there are programs that are difficult to establish a connection with the Russian Federation through offshore registrations, changes of owners or hidden ownership structure," the IT Ukraine Association emphasized. As noted in the edition, the software of Russian origin is often the source of cyberattack. In 2024 alone, more than 4,300 were recorded in the Verkhovna Rada.

It is envisaged that by 2030 Ukrainian state bodies, military, business and state -owned enterprises should switch to safe alternatives. "The Law No. 13505 has to regulate the issues of hostile software at the legislative level with clear criteria and the procedure for forming a list of Russian products. And the DSI (State Secretariat), in fact, will form this list," the IT Ukraine Association said.
