The Armed Forces destroyed the last carpet carrier in Crimea: the General Staff confirmed the lesion of "cyclone"

The small rocket ship "Cyclone" of the project 22800 was affected in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The details of the operation in the General Staff of the Armed Forces did not reveal. On the night of May 18 to 19, the forces of defense struck the Russian rocket ship "Cyclone" in temporarily occupied Sevastopol in Crimea. This was reported at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"According to the specified information, on the night of May 19, the forces of Ukraine's defense were struck in Sevastopol by the Russian rocket ship" Cyclone "of the Project 22800", - the message reads. On May 20, Roszma reported that on the night of May 19, the temporarily occupied Sevastopol was attacked at least 12 ATACMS missiles, nine of them were allegedly knocked down, while three more were hit by the Russian Small Cyclone rocket launcher. As a result of the attack, the ship sank.

According to social networks, six servicemen were killed as a result of the impact, 11 more were injured. According to the Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk, there was no carriage missile carrier in the Black Sea after defeat of the Cyclone ship. He noted that the ship was one of the aircraft in the Sevastopol Bay.

The Russian small rocket ship "Cyclone" was laid in 2016 in Kerch, in 2020 it was built on the water, while in July 2023 the ship was admitted to the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. "Cyclone" is the first ship of the project 22800 "Karakurt" of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea and the fourth on all fleets of the enemy.
