They were captured by prisons: Against the Armed Forces in the Kursk region exposed UFSVP staff - social networks

A new video appeared on social networks, shot, near the city of Lugov. The signature states that captives are employees of the Federal Sentence Service. The offensive of the Armed Forces in the Kursk region is ongoing. And on social networks there was a video shot after the next fighting. The video signatures that it was shot near the city of Lugov. And captives are employees of the Federal Service for the Execution of Sentences of the Russian Federation. About it reports Telegram-channel Yoba Media.

When the video was filmed, it is unknown. But some publications say that not only UFSDP staff of Kursk region, but also prisoners, who were forced to keep defense, may be in the video. The Russian TASS news agency has already published a statement from the UFSD in the Kursk Oblast, which refutes information about the capture of the staff of the department.

"Information that appeared on the Internet is that the Armed Forces is allegedly captured near the Legov group of employees of the UFSVP of Russia in the Kursk region, is fake," - the message reads. Five kilometers from the city of Lugov is a colony of VK-3 Lugov, which was reported not to be evacuated. Also Lugov is an important logistics knot for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

It was through the Lugs that shells were exported from Belarus and subsequently departed to the Donbas and to Kharkiv region. It is worth recalling that after a full -scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine in 2022, a large number of citizens of Ukraine was taken hostage to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

In May of the same year, the publication "Piercing Time" published material in which journalists collected testimonies of Ukrainians, who were forcibly taken out of the Kiev region and kept in Russian detention center (pre -trial detention center). The article stated that civilians were transported to IR (correctional colonies) throughout Russia. And the released Ukrainians noted that they were kept, in particular, in the territory of Kursk region.

Since information on the Russian side did not receive, it can be assumed that Ukrainian citizens who have been forcibly exported from the country in the first months of the war can theoretically be maintained in the IK-3. The Russian authorities did not formally stated where Ukrainian prisoners of war were or that locals were forcibly removed from the territory of Ukraine. It was not announced and that one of them was placed in correctional facilities.

According to Russian law, a person can be placed in a pre -trial detention center only if a criminal case is initiated against him. However, according to the Geneva Convention, this provision cannot be applied to civilian Ukrainians forcibly exported to the territory of the occupying country. We will remind, on May 31 there was an exchange of prisoners between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
