Guilty of the death of the British volunteer in the captivity

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba expressed his condolences to his native and close British volunteer Paul Uri, who died in captivity of Russian invaders. "I express my deep condolences to the native and close to Paul Uri. It was a bold person who dedicated himself to the rescue stated Kuleba. Video of the Day of the Foreign Ministry stressed that the detention and torture of civilians is barbarism and a terrible war crime.

On September 7, the Prosecutor General's office began to investigate the possible torture and murder of the British volunteer Paul Uri, which the Russian invaders were held in captivity. According to preliminary data, in April 2022 a foreign volunteer, who evacuated civilians in the territory of Zaporizhzhya region, illegally captured Russian invaders and transported to a temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk.
