Ukrainian Drones UJ-22 attacked the Smolensk airline: details and consequences of explosions (video)
According to the media, four shock drones were launched from Ukraine, and at least three of them were targeted at the Smolensk airline. One of the apparatus was shot down in the air forces of air defense, the others were suppressed by means of radio electronic wrestling, but several of them exploded during the fall. Shot assures that the drones were five, and two of them fell in the forest belt near Smolensk.
The fragments damaged the roof of one of the workshops and fell on the runway (runway) of the northern airfield. The Mash Mash writes that one of the UAVs fell on the concrete platform near the shop № 63, two more detonated near the shop No. 55, their debris and thrown into the runway. The Russian media assures that neither the airfield nor the plant equipment had undergone significant damage.
Mash added that parts of the fourth drone were hit in the balconies of a nine-storey apartment building near the Smolensk airplane and knocked out glass at the Kutuzov shopping and entertainment center. People were not injured as a result of the event. The locals managed to shoot drones on video at the time of their defeat.
The author of one of the rollers wondered where the drone flew, and noticed that he sharply began to lose its height, probably at that moment the Russians suppressed the apparatus by means of the EW. "He's that, the energy ends? Oh, he fell. Will there be some grandmothers or just fell?" - the man said aloud, and in response to him the explosion thickened. Other eyewitnesses released the Shot video of their forest strips, where at least one of the UAV was landed.
Judging from the debris, the accident suffered a fairly large drone of the aircraft type. The same is depicted during the flight on the video published by Mash - at the end it fell among the trees and exploded. On October 2, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially confirmed that combat drones had struck the Smolensk Aviation Plant.
According to the department, three of the four UAVs hit the target, caused significant damage to the Russian enterprise, which disrupted the production of missiles X-59 of different modifications of the class "Air-top". They can fly up to 280 km, and Russian troops often use them to attack military and civilian objects in Ukraine. "Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions suffer from the use of such weapons," Gur emphasized.
In Ukraine, a combat drone called UJ-22 Airborne, UkrJet first presented it at the International Weapons and Security-2021 weapons exhibition. The manufacturer's official website states that this multi-purpose unmanned aerial complex is able to fly in any weather both in the day and at night, as well as under the influence of HR.
Initially, the drone was proposed to be used for search and rescue operations and intelligence, in particular the military, but at the 2021 exhibition, Ukrzette representatives also told about shock use. UJ-22 Airborne is equipped with uncontrollable airbugs to destroy armored vehicles and live power, thanks to an advanced resumple system, you can attack the enemy with 82 mm mines, aiming with the help of an optical-electronic station.
