Replacement "Mavikam": The Russian Federation developed a light drone "Stalker" (photo)

According to the developers, the drone was created taking into account modern requirements for resistance to radio electronic struggle. But the device will have to be tested in the war zone to prove these opportunities in practice. The Russian company from Yekaterinburg has introduced a light drone "Stalker", which is called "a reliable alternative to" popular drone DJI Mavic. This drone is specifically designed to counteract the means of electronic fight (HRB).

This was reported on June 4 by Bulgarian Military Viewers. The authors of the material write that Stalker drone is a new attempt to create a viable alternative to DJI Mavic. UAVs have been developed taking into account the modern requirements for resistance to radio electronic struggle (HRV), which makes it a potentially important player on the battlefield, where traditional unmanned unmanned systems can be ineffective.

Experts believe that Stalker's tests in Ukraine will show how effective it can work in the context of counteraction to the HR, and will confirm its potential as a replacement of DJI Mavic. Successful testing can significantly advance the development of unmanned technologies and increase resistance to radio electronic threats. In the meantime, experts noted that the previous attempts by the largest Russian defense companies in 2022 and 2023 did not create a similar substitute for expectations.

Despite these efforts, Russian soldiers, bloggers and volunteers say that in the near future the real replacement of DJI Mavic does not exist because of its reliability and extended functions. We will remind, the Russian design bureau "Strathom" presents two innovative unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)-Dron-Kamikadze "Rusak" and a light shock wing "Tyuvik". It is noted that UAVs are capable of affecting targets in difficult conditions, where direct visibility with the operator can be broken.
