The employee of the territorial center of acquisition and social support of one of the districts of Kiev demanded $ 900 from car owners to put the car on a military account under the accelerated procedure. In case of refusal, he threatened to send cars for the needs of the Armed Forces.

This was reported by the press service of the capital police. "During a meeting with an entrepreneur, the offender promised the latter to influence the management of the district shopping center, and under the accelerated procedure to register two SUVs" Volkswagen ", which the entrepreneur intended to sell. He estimated such a service at 900 USD. The attacker threatened to transfer cars to the needs of the military, " - said in the message.

The corresponding "scheme" of the CCC and JV employee was effective, since according to the rules of the current legislation, vehicles owned by enterprises for the period of martial law can only be re -registered if they are in military registration in the regional shopping center. The attacker was detained while receiving an undue benefit. He faces up to five years in prison.
