A resident of Donetsk fought against the Armed Forces, but got to captivity: what is with him now

The 41-year-old resident of Donetsk with pro-Kremlian views supported the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and in December 2022 voluntarily joined the DNR People's Police. According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Special Forces of the Russian Federation received 15 years in prison. The man was part of the Storm Special Forces of the Southern Military District of the Enemy. This was reported in the SBU press service on Telegram.

"After the start of the full -scale invasion of Russia, he was involved in the arrangement of fortifications and fire positions of the racists near the railway station in Ilovaysk. He also has repeatedly participated in the attempts of the invaders to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut area," the SBU said. Thus, in May 2023, a fighter, a 41-year-old resident of the temporarily occupied Donetsk, was captured during one of the fighting.

In December 2022, he voluntarily joined the so -called "People's Police of the DNR". He was later appointed Sagittarius as part of a special forces of enemy troops. In particular, on the basis of the cyberfactors collected and the investigators of the SBU, the court found the fighter guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 (State betrayal committed in martial law) and under Part 2 of Art. 260 (participation in the Law of the Criminal Code of Ukraine not provided for by law.
