In reality, there is nothing inside the city and the occupiers have no resource in order to re -capture the regional center. "This information is not true, but it is thrown solely to sow panic. There is no enemy's offensive on Kherson and resources for that," - said Alexander Kovalenko.
The Center for Combating Misinformation also commented on the situation in the south of Ukraine. They confirmed that the enemy launched an IPSO on evacuation from the city of civil servants in order to sow panic on Ukrainians. There is no onset of the enemy on Kherson, because the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has no appropriate resources.
On December 21, 2023, the head of the united press center of the operational command "South" Natalia Humeniuk stated that the right bank of the Kherson region was securely protected. Accordingly, Russian invaders have no chance of returning to Kherson. The fortification of the coastline is constantly being improved.
