Zelensky entered sanctions against more than 600 officials from Russia: Putin was not included in the list

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, FSB Director Oleksandr Bortnikov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigh are among the famous names. The assets of officials were frozen for 10 years and banned from entering Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against 606 Russian officials, signing the relevant decree.

The list included the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council (SB), former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, Head of Government Mikhail Mishustin, Security Secretary Mykola Patrushev and the head of the Russian Presidential Administration Anton Vino.

Russian security officers also came under Ukrainian sanctions: FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Minister of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Kolokoltsev, Director of Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Narishkin, Defense Minister Sergey Shoig, Head of General Staff Valery Gerasimov, Commander -in -Chief of the National Guard.

In addition, the head of the Russian customs officer Vladimir Bulavin, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Justice Minister Konstantin Chuchenko, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobanin, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, several ministers and deputies. Russian President Vladimir Putin was not included in the sanction list. In total, 28 persons from the Security Council, 154 persons from the Federation Council and 424 were sanctioned by the State Duma.

Restrictions provide for freezing of assets, a ban on entry, privatization, ownership of property, prohibition of withdrawal of capital, suspension of performance of economic and financial liabilities and many more for 10 years. The President instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States and other States on the application of sanctions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should raise the issue of introducing similar measures to these countries. The decree emphasizes that Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine, will be controlled by the decision of the decision. Recall that the EU Council abolished the agreement that allows the Russians to receive European visas in a simplified manner. Russian citizens will pay for visas not 35, but 80 euros.
