"Disabled Light": Russia commented on a massive shelling of Ukraine
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev stated that "light extinguished" the next day after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution, which provides that Russia should pay reparations for invasion of Ukraine. A Russian government official wrote about it in his Telegram channel.
In response to the adoption of the resolution, he stated, the Russian Federation will be forced to withdraw money and property of private investors of countries, which will approve national acts on the withdrawal of assets of the Russian Federation on the basis of the UN resolution. The Kremlin's Exglav called the UN decision "theft of Russian assets".
"It is necessary to irreversibly withdraw money and property of private investors from such countries, although they are not responsible for fools from their governments," Medvedev said in his blog, adding that the cost of foreign investments frozen in the accounts of the Russian Federation and other foreign assets is estimated $ 300 billion. These funds, according to the official, are enough to compensate for "stolen" in the Russian Federation.
"The UN has made such unconditional decisions that just turn off the light. And the light is switched off. The next day . . . " - Medvedev wrote, in view of everything, with a reference to a massive rocket attack of Ukraine on November 15. Recall that Medvedev called the possible payment of reparations of Ukraine from Russian assets "UN agony". According to him, the UN resolution approved is an attempt to find a legal basis for payment of losses to Ukraine from arrested Russian assets in foreign banks.
