I don't believe Putin will apply nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine - Zelensky

The Ukrainian president believes that the world community should not be threatened with a Russian dictator, because in the future he can attack other states. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin will not apply nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with the German edition of Bild. According to him, the world will not allow the Russian leader to strike a nuclear strike. However, Zelensky does not reject that this can happen.

"I do not believe that he will apply this weapon. I do not think that the world will allow him to use this weapon . . . We cannot look into this person, there are risks," the head of state said. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that Vladimir Putin should not be threatened, because in the future he can attack other states. "Tomorrow Putin can say: apart from Ukraine, we want part of Poland, otherwise we will apply nuclear weapons. We cannot go to these compromises," he said.

The President believes that the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia testifies to problems with officers and other military personnel. "We already know that they mobilized the cadets, guys who could not fight. These cadets were killed. They could not even finish their education. All these people cannot fight. They come to us and die," Zelensky said. He also stated that Putin wanted to drown all Ukraine as well as his military. "He sees that his parts are simply scattered.

He needs a multimillion -dollar army. Because he sees that most people who invade us are just running away. He wants to drown Ukraine in the blood, in particular, in the blood of his soldiers," he said President. Volodymyr Zelensky called "referendums" about accession to Russia in the occupied territories fictitious. He is convinced that almost no one in the world is recognized and added that Ukraine will continue to liberate the captured lands. "We will act according to our plans step by step.

I am sure that we will release our territory," the President summed up. We will remind, on September 21 Vladimir Putin in his address announced the beginning of partial mobilization in Russia. The Kremlin's head called for the West's attempts to destroy the Russian Federation and threatened with nuclear weapons. Subsequently, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoiga stated that 300,000 reservists will be called to the Russian army.
