On the instructions of Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, the deputy head of the state Roman Mashovets and Igor Zhovkva held a briefing for representatives of the embassies of the Baltic States and Northern Europe in Ukraine regarding the confrontation of our country with a full -scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Roman Mashovets thanked the Baltic and Northern Europe countries for the strong support of our country in confronting Russian aggression.

“This is very important, especially now when serious operations are taking place. At the same time, air attacks are ongoing throughout our country, ”he said. The deputy head of the Presidential Office also noted the importance that this meeting is taking place on the eve of NATO summit in Vilnius.

For his part, Igor Zhovkva stressed that Ukraine seeks to receive a clear invitation to NATO membership during the Alliance summit and is counting on the support of the Baltic States and Northern Europe. "It will be a very important signal for the Armed Forces and our society," he said.

During a briefing of diplomats, they informed about the general situation in Ukraine, a topical situation on the front and to evaluate the prospects of further actions of Russian troops, which continue to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and keep the land corridor in a temporarily occupied Crimea.
