Invisible Ship: India's Navy has been adopted by the third destroyer Imphal

The Indian military claim that in the presence of powerful weapons and navigation systems, the ship has improved characteristics of secrecy due to the design and use of "radio transparent material". The Navy of India has finally introduced its invisible missile destroyer INS Imphal.

After completing a thorough and comprehensive test program, the third of the four destroyers Visakhapatnam (Project 15b), which were designated by the Navy of India's Navy, and Mazagon Dock Limited, was included in the Indian Navy. It is equipped with a combined gasobenzyne power plant (cogag), consisting of four gas turbines and is able to develop a speed of more than 30 units (56 km/h). The main feature of the destroyer is the improved characteristics of secrecy, which are achieved through the effective form of the body, superstructure, plate masts and the use of radio transparent material on open decks. As for weapons, the ship is equipped with 16 anti-ship winged rockets of Brahmos and 76 mm oto melara.

The air defense of the ship is provided by 32 Barak 8er missiles, 16 of which are placed in vertical starting installations (VLS) - two are located in the nose and steam in the feed. There are also four AK-630M ship guns. For the maintenance of the Impphal warfare is equipped with a hydrolocker installed on the housing and double torpedo devices for heavy torpedoes. The destroyer also has two protical rocket launchers RBU-6000.
