Today, the fleets of the aggressor country have five brigades and one regiment of marine infantry. According to Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, new formations will be created in the Medium -term perspective. The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy of the Russian Federation Admiral Mykola Yevmenov said on January 10 that five divisions and one brigade of the Marines will be formed in Russia. New units will be created in "Medium -term", reports TASS.

"In order to increase the combat capabilities of the Marines as a separate Navy forces in the medium term, they plan to reform the existing five brigades of marine infantry in the naval infantry division, and the Caspian Fleet Marine Fleet Regiment in the brigade," Yevmen said. In fact, the head of the Russian Navy repeated the words of the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu, who in December announced the creation of the above units.

According to Russian sources, there are now five brigades and one regiment in the Navy. One brigade has fleets: the Black Sea (810 Brigade), the Baltic (336 Brigade) and the North (61st Brigade), and two brigades of the 155th and 40th brigades in the Pacific Fleet. At the same time, the 177th Regiment of Marines is separately formed in the Caspian Fleet. Now all the crews, based on the words of Yevmenov, will be reformed into the division, and the regiment will deploy to the brigade.
