Law enforcement agencies were looking for a Russian who tried to preserve property in Ukraine for three years. As a result, he was found for 13 thousand kilometers from property. Russian citizen Igor Churkin was detained in Argentina upon the submission of Ukrainian law enforcement. The man is the main suspect in the bankruptcy of the plant in Lviv. In particular, the person sought to preserve the property in Ukraine, so he accused the bank of raiding.

The details of the case, which began before a full -scale invasion, in 2004, continues, the DBR press service said. The press service stated that the detention was due to the evidence collected by the DBR against Igor Churkin. Churkin was the owner of the Lviv Bus Factories and, to support his work, took a loan from a state bank. He did not give the loan, but spent at his own discretion. After that, the company was declared bankrupt and the property was put up for a state auction.

In order to delay the sale, the Russian hired a special person who applied with fictitious accusations. Ukrainian law enforcement officers found out what happened, so Churkin was finally detained for 13 thousand km from Ukraine, in the Republic of Argentina. The man is suspected of Art. 383 of the Criminal Code - for a deliberately false notice to the National Police. Possible punishment - imprisonment for up to two years.

In 2014, the automobile plant was declared bankrupt - the bank died 59 million UAH. In 2021, the plant was laid on the Portal "Prozorro" to find him a new owner. It was at this point that Igor Churkin hired a citizen whose name is not indicated that he went to the police and dictated the fictitious director of Lviv Bus Factories LLC. The statement stated that "Ukreximbank" allegedly planned to raider the enterprise. On February 8, this director was found guilty of suspected false testimony.
