The Prosecutor's Office opened criminal proceedings through the HCR of Military Gnezdilov

According to journalists, Sergei Gnezdilov has not yet been reported suspicion because he is at an official hospital. The prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings on possible evasion of serviceman of the 56th separate infantry brigade Sergei Gnesdilov, who in September 2024 was demonstrated in the HSC (unauthorized leave) due to the lack of clear service life. This was reported by the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor General's office Nadiya Maksimets.

"Criminal proceedings have been registered as a result of the media monitoring and investigative actions are conducted," Maksimets said. She explained that information was made to the Unified Register of Pre -trial Investigations on September 23. Within the investigation, the duty of military service and orders of commanders is checked. The obligation to carry out the investigation is entrusted to the State Bureau of Investigation.

At the same time, the anonymous source of Interfax-Ukraine told reporters that Gnesdilov has no procedural status, and has not yet been reported to him. "He is currently on a hospital, which expires in the near future. If he does not arrive at the scene within three days after that he will make further procedural decisions," the agency's interlocutor explained.
