It is clarified that the enemy is operating in Pokrovsk, and therefore there was confusion due to the mistake of the spokesman of the command.

The spokesperson of the "East" military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a mistake when he said on the air of the telethon about the appearance of Russians in Myrnograd, according to the post of the eastern group on the Facebook page. The command assured that the situation in the city is fully controlled by the Defense Forces. Clarification regarding Mirnograd appeared on the network around 11 a. m. on October 29.

In the post of the "East" media outlet, it is indicated that the spokesman, who said on October 28 about the breakthrough of the Russians on the outskirts, "slandered". In fact, it was about Pokrovsk, according to the statement of the eastern group. "The enemy is not in Myrnograd. The situation in the city and its surroundings is fully controlled by the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the command wrote.

It should be noted that on October 28, Hryhoriy Shapoval, the spokesman of the "Shid" Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR, spoke about the situation in the Pokrovsk region during a live telethon and, among other things, mentioned Myrnograd. According to the representative of the command, units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have already appeared on the outskirts.

Meanwhile, analysts of the DeepState project showed a map on which the positions of the Russians pass at a distance of 1. 5-3 km from the outskirts, although the gray area is close to the outer borders of the settlement.

Military observer Bohdan Miroshnikov commented on the battles in Myrnograd, recalling that the defense of the city has been going on for 12 months in a row and all this time the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation repelled active assaults of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition, the columnist warned about the pressure of the Russians from the north on the side of Rodinsky and from the east on the side of Novoekonomichny.

He also added that the battle for the Pokrovsko-Myrnograd agglomeration will take place not on the streets of the cities, but in the fields in the northwest.
