Language scandal in Odessa: The teacher of Ukrainian history has promoted Russian narratives to students - the media
According to the representative of the language ombudsman Yaroslav Vitko-Prysyazhnyuk, during the whole lesson the teacher did not say a word in the state language. Moreover, if you analyze the whole lesson, the teacher in it was distributed by narratives that the Ukrainian identity was created by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, Ukrainians met the Russian army with bread and salt, emphasized the representative of the state language.
The City Department of Education added that a check had been started after the school, but the teacher, after learning about it, wrote a statement about dismissal. As it is noted, as a result of consideration of the complaint, state control measures have been initiated, after which the issue of opening administrative proceedings will be resolved. The former teacher can threaten a fine of up to five thousand hryvnias.
Yaroslav Vitko-Prysyazhnyuk stressed that even "timely" release does not release the offender from responsibility, since the case itself has already been recorded. Separately, the office of the Ombudsman prepares a letter for an educational ombudsman, and the materials on cases are transferred to the SBU.
