According to journalists, Brussels can decide on a new package of assistance for the Ukrainian army for 150,000 euros. The Belgium Ministry of Defense has purchased 14 RIM-7 Sea Sparrow-7 missiles in Germany, some of which are intended for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. About it writes the Belgian newspaper L'Echo. It is reported that eight of the purchased missiles will be transferred to Ukraine.

In the office of the head of the Defense Ministry of Defense, people Dedonnger noted that this assistance "illustrates the complementarity of Belgian support. " The publication also states that the Belgian government can decide to allocate a new military aid package for more than 150,000 euros to Ukraine. About a third of this amount is the purchase of the mentioned missiles. The cost of one rocket was approximately 7,000 euros.

According to journalists, the Belgium Defense Minister also proposes to transfer the Armed Forces of 3200 FNC stores for Fabrique Nationaleo Nationaleo and about 50 blanklore shells. It should be noted that the Sea Sparrow rocket was developed by Raytheon and General Dynamics. Its range is up to 30 kilometers and speed is about 4200 kilometers per hour.

In total, the Belgium Ministry of Defense provided Ukraine with more than 306 million euros, including 41 million euros, was spent on fuel purchase.
