"This has never been such": Russia has disabled the NPP from Ukraine's grid

To spread: the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZPP) has been left without electricity for almost three weeks, which potentially carries a nuclear threat. The actions of the Russian "Rosatom" violate internationally recognized protocols of nuclear security, contradict the Ukrainian license and directly threaten the nuclear incident. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga wrote about it on the social network X.

"Russia intentionally tore the connection of the station with the Ukrainian energy system to protest the re -connection to Russian. This has never been in the history of nuclear energy," Sibiga wrote. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Russian Federation placed on a captured army and weapons, replaced its perimeter, and now tested technically unacceptable transformations.

At the same time, the Russians try to assure the IAEA and all the technical and diplomatic community in their non -involvement in the problems of the station. According to the Minister, Russia should stop shelling and provide repair of transmission lines. According to him, it can be done at any time. "We urge the international community to clearly recognize Russia and Rosatom's actions illegal, unacceptable and critically dangerous.
